Due to the demonstrating and innovating features of the system, the targeted building has to dispose of a skilled internal technical staff. Or if it does not have such a staff, an external one must be close and ready to make interventions. The use of sorption technology to produce cold is at the origin of special operation and maintenance actions and checking. An important danger for a solar cooling project is to be commissioned without a significant and reliable monitoring system. The solar cooling and heating system must be monitored for two reasons:
First: control of the system, giving information on the operation of the different hydraulic loops ; this represents the basic way to detect defaults on the system and warn the technical staff.
Second: energy and data measurements to control the level of performances.
